For Rachel, it was always easier to perform an audit when she knew the “why” behind the procedures she was performing. As a GAAP Dynamics Director, she strives to create interactive and memorable training offerings that explain the “why.” Rachel enjoys working to break down the technical intricacies of the accounting guidance to make it easier to understand and apply.

Rachel gained hands-on experience and insight working as a Manager at a regional public accounting firm for eight years, specializing in financial institutions. Her experience includes both internal and external audits of private and public companies, as well as consulting.

Outside of work, you can find Rachel exploring new places and going on adventures with her husband, two daughters, and their dog, Luna, around their town. When she's not out and about, Rachel enjoys needlepointing or simply spending time in their backyard at home in Winchester, Virginia.
