Carlo received his B.S. in Marketing at Virginia Tech, but later discovered his passion for education through substitute teaching. This drove him to pursue a Master’s in Curriculum and Instructional Design with a focus in Secondary Social Studies. 

Carlo joined our team after his first career as a middle school teacher. Carlo taught 7th grade U.S. History for three years where he gained   experience in designing and implementing engaging lessons, and found great joy in supporting his students and watching them grow as   historical thinkers. 

 Carlo looks for opportunities to hone his instructional design skills and apply them within the eLearning industry, while also renewing his interest in marketing. He found a home with the DMLS Team at GAAP Dynamics where he is excited to bring his experiences and expertise into creating engaging and relevant eLearning to help those in the accounting industry stay at the forefront of their field.

Outside of work, you can find Carlo on the hardwood at the gym playing pickup basketball or learning a new skill – beginner piano. He also loves to explore Richmond and enjoy days on the James River with his girlfriend, Morgan, and their dog, Frito, followed by cozying up at home with their two cats, Rex and Jasper.
