Investment Management: Transactions with Service Providers

This CPE-eligible, eLearning course (1.0 CPE) explains who the typical service providers of an investment company are and how they are compensated, highlighting the fact that most of the functions of an investment company are performed by these service providers. Typical fee arrangements are covered in this online course, with particular focus on the accounting for management fees and distribution fees. Fee waiver, reimbursement, and expense offset arrangements are also discussed along with their presentation in the U.S. GAAP financial statements.
